This year Huncote are part of the break away old senior league, in Leicestershire. This year, the league is sponsored by Foster's larger, and comprises of four divisions. They are, division 1 and 2, and reserve division 1, and 2. Huncote first team take part in the second division, but following a succesful year last one out, the seconds managed to get into the top reserve league.

In order to take part in the league, teams must have two teams, and not play on a park ground. This was the main reason for the split. Huncote felt the park pitches were of a lower standard, and players such as Al Somner, have felt the impact, Al himself breaking his nose last season. Hopefully this should also lead to a better standard of cricket all round.

AS soon as we get them, Huncote CC Online will publish the league tables here, but as it is still early in the year, we are waiting for the league to sort it's self out. The main aim for the club this year is for the second team to maintain their position in the top division. Good luck guys!!!!
