At the age of 41 this athletic male tries every season to retire from the cricket stage. This is not his best sport and with an batting average close to the Conservatives popularity he would prefer to be on the side supporting.....But every year, the whites come out, (those that have not been borrowed!!) and reluctantly the Saturday afternoons are spent at interesting venues around Leicestershire.
The new position seems to be behind the stumps. Is this because of his white hot reations or because no one else is fit enough to crouch done for three hours...Bowling is certainly not on the cards, as with only one over bowled in his career, his figures even made Brewin look respectable... In the field is a different matter. DK is one of the Huncote stars. Fast across the ground, safe sure hands and low accurate throws that even Crossley cannot match....Well enough of the rhetoric...back to reality.....
