Another solid performance from Huncote, who won the toss and elected to bat. The game was played on an excellent track, prepared at first by Crossley, then by the expert eyes of Alan Somner. Huncote batted well all the way down and top scores came from Crossley, Mitch Hubbard, and Peter Kirby.

Amassing a massive total of 226-9 of their 40 overs, Huncote were always favourite and JW and Brian opened the bowling superbly. Everyone who came on bowled well, except PK and TK, with the Kirby's, likened to the Chuckle brothers today, were dispatched to all corners. Still Huncote bowled the opposition out for 147, and were always comfortable.

Another quality performance, good stuff from the boys.
