With many of the second team playing for the firsts, things seem to be looking bleak for Huncote seconds. With star bat Alan Sommer out of nick, and Jamie having a personal nightmare, the team continues to strugle to get runs.

Geoff once again won the toss and decided to field, and Huncote did OK to keep some big hitters at bay, to limit Sharnford to a respectable 150-8. PK managed to take a good catch, as did Al, and Eddy opened the bowling well.

Stan finished off the bowling, excellently, proving he was back to his best, and Huncote did their best.

Batting wise the team was poor. Although Sharnford got in a mood about Huncote playing for a draw, realistically they bowled well and Huncote could not bat!! Jamie was caught behind by Sharnford's athletic keeper, Eddy went for 10 and Al once again got a duck.

The key men for Huncote were top scorer DJ Mitch, Jacko who batted well, and mention also to DK and Craig Webb who fended off brilliantly for a draw. All in all a poor result but Huncote will be back!!!
