A great season for Huncote Cricket Club culminated in the end of season bash on the 1st of October. An all star occasion as the club looked back on a season where they clinched the Leicestershire Senior League Trophy. Thanks to all those that helped made the night a success and all those that helped over the course of the year.
James Brewin won the first prize for his performances in the midweek league. Brian Driver, Tim Kirby and Frazer Hubbard scooped the Spearhead honours, whilst Kev Dyke, Paul Knibbs and Ben Crossley took home the second team awards. First team honours were given to Luke Dyke, who returned to win player of the year, Ian Crossley, and the big one of player of the year to the fans favourite, Frank Hubbard. Frank also picked up the clubman award and was a popular winner!
Thanks to the club sponsors Mattioli Woods for supplying the prize for the young player, and their MD, Ian Mattioli, for presenting the award.
