Silk Again Takes the Glory at the Huncote Darts Masters 2004

Ian "Silk" Crossley became the first player to retain the Huncote Darts Masters Trophy after another scintillating performance.  Few could match his high scores and big checkouts, and the "Mole Man" Tim Kirby was once again the beaten finalist.

Early casualties included one time champion Max "The Kingfisher" Swords, and Dave "The Killer" Kirby.  Surprises came from "Brave" Danny Wilson, "Steady" Eddie Stratford,  "Diamond" Dave Lavery, and Paul "Sure Thing" Shorney.

It was a record turnout this year, at an event which also boosted a poker table, and a chilli dinner.  Mick Wooley showed his class at the poker table, and it was unlikely that Pete Kirby's five bowls of chilli was matched throughout the night.  More events to be announced so watch this space soon.
