Fleckney Falcons V Huncote Spearheads 03/08/03 - Spearheads win by 80 Runs

A crushing opening bowling spell from John Smith and James Swann, was the catalyst in a big Huncote win. Earlier James Brewin (41) and Alan Sommer (49) set Huncote on to a large total of 197-8. Good batting all round against a solid bowling unit.

Tea was great, but Swann and Smith also tucked into the Falcon's bastmen, leaving the Spearheads on top at 10-5. Again the bowling was shared out as the Falcons finished 117-8 off their alloted overs.
