Eddie lost the toss and Sharnford elected to bowl first the seconds with a changed team, due to holidays were missing Al Sommer, Brew, JW ,Ross Mathews, Stan Sexton, and welcomed in Rikki, Pete Lill, Dave Gamble, & Mitch back from uni. Eddie & Jamie opened and built a steady opening stand of 40 off 14overs.  Jamie was first to go caught, with Pete Lill next in he face a couple of sighters before hitting a four square on the on side, scoring was steady when Eddie was out caught behind for 20.  Mitch came in and was in a hurry to score quickly and was soon out for 12.  Wickets were falling at regular intervals with only Pete producing a score of 48 with 2 huge sixes one denting a car at deep long on. Huncote were all out for 149 off 44 overs. 

The Swanns opened the bowling father and son Rikki & James with James taking the honours with 3 wickets in his first spell. He was replaced by another youngster Ben Crossley who carried on with 2 wickets in his spell.  Sharnford then seemed to shut up shop and play for a draw with only 22 overs gone and six wickets down, the next 12 overs off Eddie & Pete not many aggressive shots were played this changed when young Swanny was brought back on.  He took 2 wickets in his first over back with Eddie having their top scorer caught by Jamie at slip, Swanny then wrapped up the innings by bowling their last man to end with match figures of 9 overs 4 maidens 21 runs 6 wickets for a 48 run victory.
