A spirited 50 from Sir Alan Sommer was not enough to mount a run chase at the Spearing Waite Huncote Bowl. The Lawnmowers won the toss and Frazer Hubbard's Spearhead side were asked to field. A score of 210 for the Lawnmowers was good with Besell top scoring with 42. Wickets for Smith, Adcock, Lill, and Farmer. In reply the home side were always behind the rate, with Lill, Adcock and Crossley looking to support Sir Alan Sommer. All in all a good game played in great spirit on a hot, sunny day.
