Huncote 1st V Cosby 26/05/2005 - Cosby Win by 8 Wickets

Huncote crashed out in the first round of the Dennis Sleath cup thanks to a fine innings from Cosby's number 3, Whitehead.  Early after being asked to bat, Huncote scored 114 from their 12 8 ball overs.  Peter Kirby batted through for 46 as Mitch Hubbard, Danny Adcock and Carl Sommer added good support.

In reply Steve Bayliss batted well, but Huncote's bowling lacked bite, and needing 10 off the last Pete Kirby over, Whitehead hit a huge six to effectively seal the game and the tie.  Played in a good spirit Cosby deserving the win.
