Huncote 1st V Kirby Muxloe 24/05/2005 - Kirby Muxloe Win by 14 Runs

Kirby Muxloe held on for a hard fought draw at the Spearing Waite bowl.  Visiting captain, Paul Hammond elected to bat first, and it was Wain who picked up the pace, leading Kirby to a competitive but achievable 109.

Apparently cruising at 77-2 with 5 overs still remaining, Huncote missed out thanks to some tight Muxloe bowling.  A good knock from Ian Crossley, and some cavalier batting from James Brewin set the early pace, but Tim Kirby and Carl Spencer could not pick up the required runs against some decent late bowling.
