Huncote lost this match on the last ball of the game. Good batting from Ross Spencer, supported by Brewin and Peter Kirby took the home teams score to 98. In reply Ratby lost wickets at key times with Driver, Kirby, Hubbard and in particular Smith bowling well. Controversially Cockerill was allowed to return after retirement and helped 10 man Ratby home, but in such a friendly league the result stood. MOM to John Smith would had the ball swinging early on.
