Westonians V Huncote 1st 20/08/2005 - Huncote Gain Winning Draw

A poor performance with the bat from Huncote, but a decent effort with the ball. Top scorer was new signing Wendell, who hit 27 opening. Late contributions from Brewin, Schutz and Wayne Smith took the score to 147 all out. Decent bowling from the Westonians but extras was a major scorer.

In reply Westonians were in trouble early, but a gritty innings from Ellis, and some free scoring from Wagstaff then Meman, took them close. Dyke, Smith and Kirby all bowled well and the runs were just beyond the home side. In the end the innings closed on 130-7 and Huncote picked up a decent 12 point haul.
