After a few quick wickets for Huncote, Spencer and Brewin steadied the ship and paved the way for a hard fought win. Cosby proved to be stronger than form suggested and it took some clever bowling from Smith, Driver and then Spencer again to cap the win.
A fine innings from Steve Bayliss for Cosby, and some decent bowling from Steve Wagstaff kept this match close. In the end Huncote held their nerve and recorded their 3rd win from 3 in the midweek league.
