Orange
Instruments Ltd was founded in
1975 and soon developed several
ranges of industrial electronic
instrumentation, beginning a close
relationship with a number of end
users, notably Rolls Royce
Industrial and Marine Gas
Turbines. In the mid 1980s Orange
developed a gas turbine
temperature spread monitor for the
Royal Navy and by the end of the
decade units were fitted in the
British surface fleet and in
vessels in other Navies. During
this period Orange was becoming
more and more involved with
process control systems, based
around micro-controllers and
programmable logic controllers.
Control systems were designed,
built and commissioned in food,
beverage, pharmaceutical and
chemical industries.
During
the 1990s Orange continued to
expand the process control
business to include the design and
build of hazardous area systems
for the oil and gas industry. This
work led to the design of an Eexd
actuator and an I.S. hand held
calibrator for a range of actuator
positioners. Orange successfully
obtained a BASEEFA manufacturing
licence for these items.
Now
Orange Instruments are active in a
number of industries, providing a
range of services for their
customer base. Using the
experience gained from the design
and build of Control systems, and
with the addition of skilled
staff, Orange have also moved into
the Package Assembly field.
Now we are able to offer a
complete, and excellent solution,
